Installation

You can install plugin into your Android Studio from central repository:

  1. Open the Settings dialog (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+S).
  2. In the left-hand pane, select Plugins.
  3. On the Plugins page that opens in the right-hand part of the dialog, click the Browse repositories button.
  4. In the dialog that opens, find Android Test Recorder plugin, right-click it and select Install plugin.
  1. Note that when looking for the Android Tests Recorder plugin, you can filter the plugin list and also to perform a search.
  2. Confirm your intention to download and install the selected plugin.
  3. Click Close.
  4. Click OK in the Settings dialog and restart Android Studio for the changes to take effect.
You can also download plugin directly from this site and use "Install plugin from disk" button to install it.

Warning:Plugin is in beta now, it is not very stable and has the following limitations:

  • WebView recording is not supported now
  • Gestures recording has limited support (swipe only)
